Robert McGlashan is a partner at Reeves Richarz LLP in Toronto, Ontario. He has appeared in the Superior Court, the Court of Appeal, WSIB, College of Psychologists, and other tribunals in matters of civil litigation.

Robert obtained his law degree from Osgoode Hall and Undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto where he received a Gold Medal for academic excellence. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2006.
Beyond his legal practice, Robert is a passionate advocate for open water swimming and charitable causes. He is recognized as the first Canadian to swim across Lake Titicaca and the first person to ever complete a double crossing of the Straights of Magellan. He is founded Great Lakes Open Water swimming (GLOW) to advocate for the preservation of Lake Ontario.
He also established Swim for Change, an initiative focused on raising funds for social and environmental causes. In recognition of his contributions, Robert was invited as the keynote speaker at the 2023 Water Canada Conference and was nominated for the World Open Water Swimming Man of the Year in 2019. Robert’s commitment to excellence in both his legal career and philanthropic efforts underscores his dedication to serving his clients and the broader community.
